Need Maxton advice
Hello Gentlemen. I am in need of advice for a couple of last minute tweeks for the maxton race coming up. First of all, I have a puig double bubble on my zx-12, is this better or worse for aeros then stock which I still have. Also, typically, I run With my nos bottle on my left side where the rear footpeg bolts on, behind my leg, should this be moved to inside the tail. Easier access outside and it is behind my leg, even when tightly tucked. Lastly, I dont have signals, what should I do about turn signal holes? They look like they might not be so aero way they are, and is the v connector in the front of the lowers good or bad for aeros, weight?
I thank you guys for the input in advance, thank you for helpingwith my speed addiction.

Don't fret about the bottle, the air back there is a mess no matter what.
Don't fret about the double bubble, the effect is negligable. You have more than one chance, run with and without - learn something.
Tape up the signal holes.
Leave the chin in place, but see # 2 above.

Doc,
I would listen to Doug. He has a LOT of experience. Good luck at Maxton.

Painters tape works and is nicer than duct tape. I use it on some of the places where the fairings come together too. More for Psychological support as my fairing structure seems to have a lot of places that just snap together. I have seen duct tape covering up the Intake holes on a turbo Busa it was good for 210+mph!
