Extended Warranty (how long to get it?)
Does the date to buy an extended warranty expire from the day before the one year anniversary of its original purchase? I called my dealer and I received an answer that said otherwise.This is the second 12 which I bought, and it was used (1300 miles).The answer I got was that I had til the day before the anniversary of the date which I purchased it.

You have until the last day of the original factory warranty to purchase the extended. Just to be on the safe side I bought mine about a week in advance.

I purchased mine on the next to last day. Kawi had sent a card wanting to get me to pay something close to a million dollars for the warranty. It also showed the last day to buy which was the last day the oem warranty was in effect.
I purchased mine from Tim, the current price as of April 15 was $360. He took care of the deal that day, and I received the papers in the mail in 3 days!
The dealers name is Paradise Motorsports in Pueblo,CO
The price is $300 (now $360 he said) for a 3 year extended
warranty! If you pay with a credit card
add $6 (2%)or you can send a check for the
