I wish I could go early.
But I will have to wait for Sheryl to get off of work. So it will be Thursday before we can make it.
I hope the weather is good for us while we are there. Last year on the trip over, it rained so hard I had moisture in my headlights. They fogged up for a month after that.
I don't think I will have that problem this year. I just bought a 6' by 10' inclosed trailer with a ramp door.  WE spent yesterday setting it up to haul a bike. We used some 2 by 4's to make some rails for the front wheel, then put a couple of eye bolts in the floor.
I rode the bike up in it and strapped it down. We then drove it about 30 miles to see how it rode without anything holding down the backend of the bike. The bike never moved.
I have to haul the trailer a bit before leaving for the Gap. Trailer instructions say to stop every 50 miles and check and tighten lugnuts until you have 200 miles on it. I would like to have that pretty much out of the way before leaving.
