Can I use a 190/50 tire in a 5.5 rim?

I know that a 180 would be better but I only have a 190/50 in my garage.

sure

make sure your pressure is correct
for the type of riding you do

try to avoid toooooo much flex
altho that doesnt mean pumped up hard & tight

put it on one evening
pump it up to the MAX pressure
let it sit overnight..........stretches the carcass a Good thing

then regulate to your normal pressure
should be close

ride for at least 100 miles
let cool
adjust again

go ridijng
be safe
enjoy
