do you run blackice software on your machine? could easily just be faulty software crashing- may need to update/patch or reinstall.... doesnt look like a virus from what you posted....

go to trendmicro.com and run their online virus scanner (free) works very well.
blackice is (if it's the same "black ice") a firewall prg. much like zone alarm. I used it years ago.

i ran mcafee virus scanner which is upto date and it found nothing!!

voz, it doesn't sound like a virus, but just a software problem that was reported. however, tell me how you got that message? was it an email? a popup window on your desktop? i'm a little confused and potentiall concerned about "Thank you for submitting an error report". if this came as an email and you didnt send an email to microsoft, then the email itself is probably an invitation to a virus. is " Internet Security Systems, Inc" a link? if so, where does it point to (don't actually click on it tho)?
let me know how you received that message and we'll go from there.

my laptop went to a blue screen for a nano second then it restarted, when she came back up it ask me to send error report{like me always does} and that was the response!!

ok, that sounds pretty safe then. chances are it is just a software bug that caused the crash, and the report you sent in matched a known bug in the blackice software. i'd go to teh blackice site as directed and get the patch/updated version. just make sure the link you follow really is to the blackice site (maybe google their site and get there that way instead of trusting the link supplied).

probably came with your machine (preloaded when you bought it). this should be a patch, which shoudl be no charge. you shouldnt have to buy it new since it sounds like you already have the software. you can always choose to uninstall it if you prefer.
