good/bad vibrations ?
Hey Dudes question ?
I have a 2003 zx12 with 5000kms on it , my buddy has a 2005 zx12 with updated cpu and fuel injection , his bike is quite a bit smother , mine still feels really solid but i do notice vibez and more so at 4500 rpm which from what i hear is normal? would a differnt fuel injection set up make less vibrations ??
I dont believe the 2005 has a double counter balancer , so now i am alittle concerned with vibz , do any of you know if the 2003's have more vibes that 2005's ?
i dont feel it in the handle bars just the pegs and its not to bothersome. to be honest i like the 2003 more compared to the 2005 , the 2005 feels more deceptive and less entertaining to ride but id just like some reasurrance that there is no demon forming in my cylinder block waiting to come to the surface .
I also adjusted out the throttle slack and is there such a thing as to little throttle return slack ?
With the slack out again it is way more sensitive the way it should be in my opinon .
I definatly love this machine specially the color , silver on silver with blue pearl , its soo much fun .

There aren't any big differencies between the models and so they all vibrate about the same. To make Your bike vibrate less check that the throttle bodies are in very good sync, Your TPS is adjusted correctly and everything else is in a good shape also. The vibes are there always but those adjustments can make it smaller. Maybe You friend just got a less vibrating machine because of the manufacturing tolerances...

Ok thank you , its not that bad but it is quite a bit different that the 05 model , my dealer tech sais it has to do with the fuel injection and and the "azook " flavor /drivability set up of the different machines , me i preffer the "raw " felling of the 2000-2003 models .
It will be due for its 6000km service i will have them check it all out for good measure .
