MOST THINK I"AM CRAZY

I dont think its the way I ride, most of the guys I ride and race with are just as nuts. It only happens when someone looks in the garage. So, I'am here to ask you guys is there anything wrong with owning five zx12's.

I relize that it is a little strange, two of the bike don't even have 70 miles on them (there mint). The combo of four 2000's and a 2002 in thunder blue just looks so good. I relize that I cant even ride two at the same time. I do have other bikes, there is just something about the zx12.

Perhaps I am wrong but, I believe that despite all of the negative state side publicity that someday the zx12r will be much like my blue 1978 Z1R. Yes, I know it would most likely be better to put that money in WALLMART STOCK (my luck it would ENRON) or some crap like that. But one must measure the joy I get each day when opening that garage door.

And thats not even measuring the pure intoxicating thrill of riding the ultimate road eating, other bike smashing, eyes watering while the speedo's reading 220 as you pass up some squide on an R1, thrill one gets while riding the best MOTHER FUCKING MACHINE ON TWO WHEELES-and MANY TIMES ONE- MADE.

------MAYBE I AM A "LITTLE TOUCHED"

Yeap! Your not right!

You fit right in on this board!!!

I wish I had three ZX12R's...

#1 - Leave stock for everyday riding.
#2 - Drag Bike - Rake / Bore / Slick
#3 - Pull off as much weight as possible (Curve surfing)

In a good kind of way.I still laugh when I think about you and your friend pulling your cannisters off to win the noise contest with the BoatAnchors in Daytona.

Damn Harleys--They just thought they were loud. There is not much like a zx12 reving to 12,500, banging off the rev-limiter with an open header. We even had to wear ear plugs under the helment to reduce the noisy. I think I saw a Harley rider start to cry. Those are memories I'll never forget.

Well, you've got a point. I just sat here for about 10 minutes tring to come up with some sort of come back. I guess as long as my garage doesn't get hit by a tornado or blow-up (it can hit the house "PLEASE GOD NOT THE GARAGE") I have been fairly lucky.

Whip,

Are you the one who terrorizes the local Vipers in town? I think I remember you blew away some modded Vipers a while back ago. Have you taken on any of the Hennessey Vipers? Some of the modded Viper guys can be pretty arrogant; hopefully you've taught them a lesson or two (but I still want a Viper one day though...)

Nope, you are not crazy...you just have too much money.

I thought I was going overboard with 3 bikes, 2 snowmobiles and a 4 wheeler. But you guy's have changed my mind. Now If I could just sneak in a new Mean Streak without the wife finding out.....
