Billet Oil Pan!! Is anyone Interested??
Hey guys just wanted to get a little info before my friend procedes? he might do it anyway. but is anyone interested in a Billet Oil Pan for their 12, the cost will be between 600-650 bucks, well should be anyway! give some input!! thanks

besides looking Trick!! the pan will also give you a small weight savings, and it is designed with a traveling pickup. so it will follow the gravity of the bike. starting stoping, turning, so even under Extreme loads such as drag racing, the pickup will follow the oil, such as starting and stopping. and the biggest bonus of the pan is the added clearance, it will have 2-3" more clearance then the stock pan. If you want to see a picture of the Hyabusa Pan check out www.schnitzracing.com and see the hyabusa version, the 12 will be a lot tougher to machine out, so that is why the cost is greater.

Its a lot of loot, but the clearance issue is a good one. I have a dent in a header and chips off the "protector' around the oil drain plug from unplanned wheelie smash landings. I wish I had the cash, but alas and alack, my sponsor (Master Card) is hinting that I should work with what I've got for a while...

No he is not going to make them now! not enough intrest in the project! but I had my oilpan machined and welded up a little! Ill post pix's!!

Billet oil pans...
I am very interested...I already chipped a piece of the pan at the drain plug protector!!! Whoever makes a billet pan, can count me in as a buyer!!!
