Tenance You never told me about the 6 degrees!!
Vs, the 5 degrees the stock Back cut the gears have!! That adds another $100 to the cost of the 3 gear package! Why did you not mention that one??

Because I did not know anything about it! And I still don't other than your post!
Mr Robinson never said anything to me about that in the slightest. If I could have had that as an option, I wasn't told that I could... or if I did get it as part of the deal, I hadn't known it. Nor did I then or now know anything about any merits of doing this.
Maybe this is an engineering improvement he has come up with since that time? I absolutely have no knowledge on this one at all.

That Explained it!! It almost came up as an after thought when he spoke about it. He stated that the stock Undercut is 5 degrees and 7 degrees is a "Cutter" so his gears are set at 6 degrees back cut. He charges $25 per set of dogs to match them. There are 4 sets to match so the price is $100 to do this. I set up a dremmel tool with cut off wheels and on "Flat" sided Dogs i would clean up the back cut but I could never so a good job on Rounded Dogs
So add $100 to the price list. I just contacted everyone in my group to give them a chance to back out and so far, no takers. I still need to hear from 1 person before I give him the Go ahead.
I understand the reason why (Better engagement ) but It would have helped to figure this in to begin with.

TB Right on Time! I ordered "6" 3 Gear sets. With 5th changed to 1.087 and 6th 0.967 Gear Ratios. Giving a taller 6th Gear by 0.066. The cost per set is $750.00 per set when you buy 1 set, but for 6 or more sets it is down to $450.00 per set. To Micro - Polish the gears it is somewhere between $0.00 to $25.00 To match the Back cut of the Gears about $100.00 more. Figure shipping to me and me shipping to you about $15 more so the total cost could be as much as $585.00 ready to install (or $35 more than the $550.00 price if I had ordered 5 sets).
If anyone really thinks they need this, send me an e-mail or PM right now because I put him on hold until the end of this week because of the Back Cut information I did not have and needed time to make sure everyone still wanted to do this. I have already sent the deposit for 6 sets and needed 5 so if no one more than TB then no changed needed to be made. Let me know TB

Going way back I remember a guy in NC that did that to the gears in my 900 Z-1
And what was great was that under full power, with no clutch, I could shift into the next
gear up... felt like an automatic... well sort of... 
Not sure if that's why you guys are looking into this, but it brought back some good memories!!!
