Looking for something I saw at DG1...
Someone there had a little portable stand...not much bigger than a pencil. You would lift the rear wheel up using the kickstand as a pivot point, and this stand went under the swingarm spool on the opposite side from the kickstand. It was a slick piece, but I can't remember what it was called. Does anyone here know?

Scooter was the one who introduced that to us at DG1...
I still have mine and keep it close incase of emergency!!!

I recently got one from Vincent Hill and it works great. You can "ping" him for information.

yeah Scooter has them, I got one from him, they are the cats ass......ping him or send him a PM...I havent seen him on lately. If you cant get a hold of him let me know I will call him....

not as stable or slick, but in a pinch use a strong stick (or small piece of lumber) the right size. works great.

I believe your talking about a Quickstand Steve. Pretty handy piece IMHO.............

Yep, that was me. I made up a bunch out of stainless. Couple heavy fender washers, 1/8" pipe, a coupling, a small spring and a foot of velcro. Musta made 20 or so. Only have one left, gave 'em away to thses guys and the ZRX crew. I need to make some more. Even had a few made from all-thread and a coupling nut but they were'nt as pretty. I'll get a pic later.

No, I figured out that trying to ride the Valk like a sportbike was more dangerous to me than just riding a sportbike in the first place. Sold it to a friend who loves it, and bought an '05 CBR1000RR to sit beside my '79 CBX in the garage. Also, bought the wife an '05 Shadow Spirit 750 when she took the MSF and passed her permit this summer.

I made mine out of an old snow ski pole, a piece of aluminum, and a velcro wrist watch band. Works great.
