Air filters
Do aftermarket air filters like the BMC and K&N do anything for the 2000 ZX12? I was curious because my RC51 actually does better on the stock Honda elements.

Personally I am a real believer in the BMC filters. K + N's for the 12 are shit!!! I would suspect that it is fair to say that with proper tuning the BMC race filters are worth 2-3 HP. Spend the extra cash and get the BMC's......especially if you have installed a pipe.

On the honda F2 I had the stock ones where better than the aftermarkets, BUT in the zx12r the K and N are shit, the BMC are better by far.
I have a 2000 model with full muzzys.
