Anyone near Tacoma, WA that wants to lend me your bike?
I was wondering if anyone up in the Tacoma, Washington area could help me out. I have a buddy up in Tacoma who offered to fabricate a sidewinder pipe for me dirt cheap. Sorry, Doug, I can't afford the $959 that you guys charge for a sidewinder. I want to put a lowered oil pan on my bike, but I can't do it without a sidewinder.
My problem is that I am a 12-hour drive away (each way) from him. And, he says that he needs a motor in a chassis to mock up the exhaust. Does anyone in the area have a rolling chassis with a busted motor in it that I could borrow for a few days? I don't want to borrow a working bike because I don't want him to deal with having to take the radiator off to get to the exhaust.
I know that it's not likely that anyone can help me, but I figured that I would give it a try. Who knows. One of you up there may be looking for an inexpensive sidewinder too. I'd be willing to throw some money your direction for your effort. Please shoot me a PM if you can help me.
