I love this helmet!
Ok, ok, I'm not one to druel over all the cool helmets out there. I hardly ever give any the time of day, let alone a gander. I have a few extra helmets that go along with my HJC and Shoei TZ-1 and I'm happy. I figured I wouldn't buy another helmet till the Snell 2005 ratings came out. But then I saw this helmet in one of the new UK mags and I fell in love. I really, really like this helmet...whatcha'll think?

I JUST BOUGHT IT...hopefully I'll have it before Laguna!!! I've been eyeing this helmet for a long long time. Finally though...I am so happy to get this.
I recently found out this is the same helmet that the KTM MotoGP rider Byrne wears. Here is a pic of it:

Well since I ordered his MotoGP replica helmet...I thought I'd find out a little more about him. We dont usually hear about Byrne in the points race of the MotoGP but he sure has cool style...I think his helmet is just the shiznit!

My 6 year-old Arai Quantum too a dump (interior/exterior came apart in several places).....So, I just bought my first Shoei in 25 years:
http://www.shoei-helmets.com/helmets/voltagetc-4.html
I love this thing: quieter than the Arai, fogs about the same, less buffeting (really noticeable on the freeway), seems more comfy after about 5 rides so far. It's harder to get on (have to wiggle it to get my ears to "unfold." The chin strap thingie is harder to snap than the Arai; maybe I just got to get used to it. (that's one of the parts that failed on the Arai, the chin-strap snap would no longer hold the strap in place.)
Also, bottom rim plastic piece kept coming loose/even various types of glue wouldn't hold it in place. Slapped my neck while riding....really annoying. Cheek pads wouldn't stay, helmet cheekpad "holder" plastic broke. It just figured it was a couple months out of warranty...
The thing I really notice is I immediately forget it when I take off. Sometimes I was thinking about the Arai (like trying to find the vent "switches"), on the Shoei it's 1 finger, done. The paint scheme...eh about the same; think I liked the Arai "Chandler" replica paint scheme a bit better, more "greenish."
Your choices if you choose green are VERY limited, & this was the best green helmet I could find....
Works great!
