Radiator leak at higway speeds.

I have a leak in the upper right area of the radiator. Was flying on the highway today(85 - 120 or so) and when I got back on to the city streets I noticed coolant all over my right side.
When stopped with engine running, looking down through the fairing, I could see it squirting out of the front of the radiator parallel with the ground. Upon first inspection it looks like a small piece of metal or other debris has punctured the radiator in the upper right hand side. Not completely sure of this.
I rode for about 5 miles at about 30 mph until the temp gauge started to flash. Stopped let it cool and then rode about 1 mile home.
I know it is hard to say without looking at the radiator, but can anyone give me a guess at what I am faced with now?

Radiator gets replaced or repaired?

Damage from riding it that hot for that long?

Who best to do it? Radiator shop?

Also the fan stopped running? Why would that happen? Short?

Wanted to get the Muzzy fan but this ain't how I wanted to start!

Thanks in advance for any help or guesses.

Radiator shop can repair the raditor.
The fan may have stop because of no water in the
radiator to triggger the fan switch.
Damage can range from nothing to warped
head with blown head gasket, but if you stopped when it started
flashing your probably safe.
Muzzy fan is good but will only help if the fan motor is working.
Get the radiator fixed first.
Test the fan motor with a battery .
If it's works get the muzzy fan, if not get a fan motor.
Two way to check engine,
1. assemble , bleed , and ride.
2. leak-down tester.

get the Muzzy fan; bike runs much cooler, & when you get stuck in traffic (lights) on a hot day, the fan doesn't run as long (cools down faster.)

Add Redline "Water Wetter" to your water/coolant mix. The bike will run a lot cooler...

According to Mythbusters...you can put a raw egg in the radiator to fix that

Oh and the muzzy fan is nothing but a fan blade...not the whole fan....so if your fan motor is toast...wont help a whole lot.
