Nice set-up. When someone transfers the money for you to buy the Powerstroke, I'll supply you a Turbo-back exhaust that'll add more big power/torque & sound!

ALL of the credit goes to Mad Mike. Seriously. Without him steering me in the right direction, we'd still be using my lil' 5x10 Wells Cargo and a bunch of utility trailers. Did I mention that all of it was WELL UNDER $10K? Not counting the graphics or umbrella girl, of course.

HDL, I made the fatal mistake of BRIEFLY visualizing... DUDE! You are the SICKEST MF'er I know.

Sadly, the boys have a commitment for a major promotional event during DG. Unless you deadbeats wanna shell out five figures plus to support us, they better be at this event. What sucks is that I'll be on a business trip at that time. Four days later, we'll be on road again heading towards The Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, TX.

The LLC owns the trailer and the bike we share for endurance racing.

So, yeah.

Yes, a "club level" race team can be a limited liability corporation. We have incorporation papers (resolutions, meeting minutes, et. al.) filed with the state and have an assigned tax ID number. We also have a corporate hierarchy with a President, managers, etc. Most importantly, we have a ball breaking, high dollar corporate attorney from Chicago that has draw up very specific and legally binding contracts for each of the team's members and associates. He also manages all documents that outline every aspect of team policy, responsibilities, ownership of team properties, and individual liabilities.

Not to mention the fact he's a decent pit bitch, too.

Ya know.... Sponsorships come easier when ex-racers come out of retirement and are offered open invitations to ride with LLC race teams..... Don't think I was ever considered a Backmarker..... But maybe I'm old & slow now......

Hey JW! - Did we ever talk about the questions you had a few months ago????????

Pete. Was kinda hard to work with at first, but when work with him for a while, he's great and has been a big help in our tire choices. He has stopped by on more than one occasion just to see how the tires are working and after inspecting them, offering additional suggestions. IMHO, it's hard to beat that.

I think it was Dave that had the tire class at Hallett. I'm sure he's a good guy and all, but he came off as being indifferent and more of a "figure it out yourself" type. I could easily be way off, but it was enough of an impression that I left early and did not stay for the rest of his class.

Pete is a good guy... When I work for Racersupply we didn't want to drive all the way home from No Problem Raceway in LA just to drive back to Texas world the following weekend. He let us park the big trailer at his house and hooked us up with his garage for power and water for our showers. Let us stay the week..... Good guy...

Dave is a police officer carrys with him a little different demeanor..... Not bad just slow to get to know...

When we was at one track a year or so ago we give his nephew some Pirreli and Racersupply stickers... He put them on his bike and rode all over the place..... He came back later and I said wheres your stickers... He said my uncle chunked them.... Little later we put a Pirelli sticker on his back.... Great kid....

Have you met Marcus Mcbain yet??? Pretty sharp on suspension and also Scott from GMD is good... Pete does it also I believe...

Almost worship the ground Marcus floats over. One of the few folks I'll just shut up and listen to. He does the work on all of our bikes and has even tweaked on my 10R a little. Marcus' class was prior to Dave's. Paid more attention in Marcus' class then watchin' a porno flick. Learned a lot more, too.

Yo, Kerry: Naw. Never chatted. You got a PM.

You know you have a backmarker just waiting to get out. It's okay - just let it happen.

And I'll start shopping for that Diesel Excursion now....
