Is anyone familiar with WMRRA?

Has anyone been to their racing school? If so, What did you think about it?

It's not an intense school. It's a school that discusses the minimum preps you will need to be eligible to race in WMRRA. And to familiarize you with some of the aspects of roadracing, if you've never done it. I'd be real happy to see you go through it, as you are going to find that putting some time in on the racetrack is going to make you a better street rider, in many ways. I will be working the tech inspection area again this year, and racing in 650 Supersport Twins with my SV650, and in the Pacific Northwest Endurance series with my red 1270 zx12r. Hope you see you there!

SWFT,

I did get some information on it and I am very interested in it but I need to find an inexpensive bike to practice with. My wife thinks I am crazy, and she really wasn't to happy when I said I need to buy another bike.

Your best choices are probably going to be a honda F2 or F3 (600cc) bike. Check the wmrra classifieds, you can prolly get one for less than $3k. Another choice would be a suzuki sv650, but since they aren't as old, they will prolly be more like $4k. Good hunting!

That'd be great. Since Pacific Raceways (SIR) is back in the hands of the owners, there's been some great changes in both the layout, and the management of the track. That bodes well for the upcoming year of racing in WMRRA.
