I was in Seattle all last week.. In the entire week the sun was out for about 30 seconds. You could see it off in the distance, but it didn't want to visit where I was.
I hope you have good rain gear... But then again, the summer makes up for it..

thanks to all that welcomed me to Washington, I met some other guys that work on Fort Lewis and we rode up to Seattle; up by the space needle. We were rained on all the way back to Olymipia. My hands were freezing. The guys are breaking me in right.

Hay 321cya !

How's things going up in the cold, wet northwest? Did your bike make the trip o.k? I finally recieved my undertail last week after waiting a month for it. Anyhow, it's on the bike and looks sweet. I also put LED tail light bulbs in. All I need now is a digital camera to take some pictures. Later, Harpoon

BTW , Mike Velasco has done his third 1270 kit, and has a custom porting job for the 12 as well. We are the only certified power commander tuning center in the area that does sportbikes, btw. If you are interested in a dyno run, or some mapping, give mike a call at 360.792.1292

Fish, I am definitely going to try and hook up with all of you guys out here. So far I have met two people from the site (harpoon and speedcraver), but did not get to ride with either of them.

Harpoon, Yes the 12 made it in one piece. I was very greatful. I can't wait to see your bike again. Keith keeps me posted on how good it looks.

SWFT, I will contact you soon. I am interested in a 1270 kit but I have to see how my money works out. So maybe by the summer time I will be looking to get one install, if all goes well.

Coolness. There's some great roads for riding around out here, I'm sure you are going to enjoy spring/summer! Since you are stationed at Fort Lewis, Mt. Saint Helen's wouldn't be a very far ride for you. Would be a good ride for late spring / early summer.
