He has done it on the Gixxer.com board and now he is starting S**T here....... I can't help that I am offering a better price for the same product as him..... I never even knew that he was selling them until after I posted my sales.... Who knows what his problem his...ask him... all I know is that I don't need his immature bad business practices hovering around me.

SWFT, it looks like there is a few *inches* of adjustment (up and down) on those. Am I seeing things in the pics..or no?? It looks like the *swiss cheese* holes are threaded and the pegs can screw in at different heights. Is this part of the adjustability?? Looks good, Ill guess Ill have to order some if so.

Ya know, the holes are threaded, and there's basically eight different positions (two height, four length). If you look at the pics, you can see that the stock peg positions are retained, all the way forward, and midpoint between the upper and lower positions. The *only* niggly is the adjustment for the rear brake light. The hole for the spring that actuates the switch is very close to the axis of the lever, hence there's little movement of the spring when the rear brake is applied. Not that I use the rear brake much at all...

Here's the thing: Manual tuning is done 'steady state'. Ie; you hold the bike at a given rpm/throttle position, and tune that cell. Tuning link lets you decide what portion of the map you will be tuning for cruise (steady state) and which portion you will be tuning for accelleration. Predominantly, most of the rpm range your motorcycle operates in is used for accelleration. Steady state operation occurs over just a couple thousand rpm range, right? So Tuning Link automates the process of tuning in the accelleration range, and lets you pick an optimum air/fuel range for both operating conditions. With regard to adjusting the timing with a stock motor, that's prolly bout the cheapest gain you can get. There's debate on which method will get you more power, but a basic setup would be to progessively add more timing as the rpm/throttle position increases. That way you should avoid any possibility of preignition at lower rpms.

Doug, if you have anything to add, jump in!
