2001-2002 ZX12R wheels
did the wheels change at all from 2001 to 2002? Are there any differences at all? I can get a set of clean 2001 wheels from my buddy and need to know if they will fit directly on my 2002? thanks fellas...Jim

Remember when you could ask a question and get an answer ?
The valve stems are different, 00-01 have metal ones that were recalled, the 2002's have rubber. Other than that they will fit.

the will fit exchanged my 02 wheels for 01 already chromed. no problem. I think when you check the part numbers on kawasaki's web site the only difference will be in the colors.

I had an '02 with '01 wheels on them.
Yes, they will fit. No problem.

that is what I am fixing to do Jon....my bike is layed up right now and will be for some time...I am going to let my buddy send my wheels off to be dipped, and when they come back, I will take the black wheels off his 01 and put them on my bike.....that way his bike isnt layed up for a few weeks......
