It is the recommended tire for zx12r according to Bridgestone website and they don't make the rear in that size.. copied from Bridgestone website...

BT011 Front tire specifications designed to compliment handling characteristics of Suzuki GSX-R1000 and Kawasaki ZX-12R.

Hey I finally ended up buying set of Bridgestone BT-014s.
BT-014 200/50ZR-17 Rear $133.95
BT-014 120/70ZR-17 front $92.95 total $226.90 delivered to my door free shipping... Southwest Moto Tires Online store
I ordered them 04/23 and I'll post as soon as they get here.. sounds like a great deal to me.. My local motorcycle shop told me their price from supplier was $199 for rear.. Sounds fishy to me.. Retail price in their supply catalog was $246 for rear....

you will like the )14's they were good tires. If you are a serious twistie guy just watch them, they get a bit slick when really hot....but very predictible
