Wheel problem
Ok fellas I need an assist here. I hit a pot hole last night up in Louiville, I was running a set of 208GP-A's on the bike at about 30 psi, so you can imagine what happened...yepper I bent the wheel.
So what I need is a front wheel for a 2003 ZX6R/RR. Any assist you can give a brotha will be great appreciated.
Hey Extremelean is this anywhere in your relm of abilities??

its not really bad ZX, but i would rather get a new one or a straight used one, I have a phobia about riding on a fixed wheel on the race track. Thanks though...

I dont know Matt, but I dont think on the new models ZX6R/RR they do, I am going to call around today to see if I can cross reference wheels for tha tbike, but the wheels on my new 600, dont look like the ones on my 2001.....

I got no use for these. So if ZX9 wheels will work on a ZX6...

cool, can ya give me a litle info, adn I will so some cross referenceing...what year are they off of? I will look up the part number and see if I can get measurements off a parts chart and seeif they are a match or not....thanks Matt.....

OZ Wheels. They came off a 2002 ZX9. They use the stock cush drive.

hey Matt, I just did some checking and referencing, and they wont fit my bike without some machining....lots of machineing.....lol

had to break down and buy a new one, so I got the green bike for the gap...talked to my dealer in GA and they matched Ron Ayres prices,and I will have it next week.....so i will set that all up next week and put a set of Supercorsas on it and it will be ready to go....hopefully will order the steering damper for it tonight, adn the 520 conversion....she sould be track ready then.....lol

Got the wheel today....took the bike down to the shop, its getting the new wheel put on with a set of Pirellie SC1 in the front and an SC2 in the rear. I put the Scotts steering damper on it today, and the EBC HH+ pads are going on as well. The Zero Gravity Double Bubble windshield came in but it was the wrong one, so i sent it back....should have the new one next week monday or tuesday.....then the RR will be good to go....and I can focus on gettign the 12 done....

no JOn, runs a 525....I am going to put a conversion on it though, and change it over...adn run Aluminum sprockets on the rear...

And if anyone in the east side of the Mississippi finds a nice late model (98-up) ZX7R let me know, I have a buddy that is in the market for one...
