1st ride on to 12 is near
i found a co in calif called (adaptivemotorcycles.com) the guy is a young engineer who is a paraplegic he has AKS system it comes down in one second and holds bike up (automatic kick stand) check it out i ordered the kit and he said he would rush it finally should be able to ride the 12 thanks for all your support over the last 2 years

i have that video...is it the one where the black stand starts to lift as speed increases...and when u slow down, it starts to come back to the ground, all timed perfectly so it keeps the bike upright...
the vid i have shows him doing wheelies, with his legs strapped into the bike...crazy....

This thread reminds me of a guy in my hometown who rode a motorcycle despite having only one arm. One day I was in the local mall parking lot and the guy lost control on wet pavement. I raced over and offered to help him, by the time I made the offer he was already up and working to get his bike upright. He smiled thanked me but declined my assistence. Before I turned away he had righted his bike( I don't even recall how, as it was a large bike and he was a slight man) as I walked back back to the car I thought this guy is crazy. After I got in the car and prepared to leave the guy blew by me with a big smile on his face, (he was wearing a 3/4 helmet) and I understood. This guy dealt with his disability on his terms.

i just received email from Erick owner of adaptive motorcycles he received my check and i should have my AKS system in 2 weeks
