Like I said, he is no
Randy Mamola!
For that matter, no one is. That save in the Netherlands was the best save anyone has ever made!

Can we take a poll to see who thinks beans is an asshole ? I've got 30+ pictures from that day, including the rest of that sequence and tons of other ones of other riders. I don't care for people who poke around on my site then post links to my stuff without my permission. You think it's clever, I think it's very uncool.

I am glad he posted the Pic because I needed to know! DO you have anything posted that says to ask you before posting one of your pics? I understand (At least I think I do) that you were going to do this your way and someone jumps in ahead of you and spoils it? I could have done the same thing and not realized that I offended someone because I have posted Bergie's Pictures that he has posted elsewhere or from his web site to explain something and meant no harm!

The picture he posted was not part of that sequence. Same guy, same bike, but later that same day. Reposts are one thing, but that photo was not posted anywhere which means he had to poke through my picture directy and find it and post it with the assumption it was related to the first shot.
I have people linking to the photos on my site all the time without permission and when those links show up on my web stats I usually track it down and take care of it. If you look at the actual web site there is a clear copyright notice on all the pages, but since this file was lifted from a directory and not found posted anywhere else I doubt the notice was viewed. I know that a copyright on a web space is about worthless with the ease that things can be lifted and reposted but it is still clearly designated.
I don't mean to sound like a dick, and I know I probably do, just having a bad drug day and that kind of stuff hits me wrong, especially bad today.
It's gone now, and I'll turn off the linking to the site completely when I get a chance and not worry about it anymore. No harm, I'm over it.

Dave, one fix you can do is to post everything via tinyurl. Wouldn't that give you a layer of seperation and prevent anyone from browsing your directory?

It's the same photo that you used in your thread. I'm not getting this poking around on your website stuff, it's the same link you used. I posted this for a bit of fun, not to take the piss. Like you say yourself 'tough crowd'.

swft - It would give another layer, but it wouldn't prevent anyone from browsing.
macnas - no problem with what you did, it's kind of funny. I was referring to the second photo in this thread not the one you reposted, which has now changed to and inspirational message.
If you had my day you'd be a little grumpy too. Sorry for the rant.

Sorry for biting your head off for something silly, it's just one of those things that gets to me. It's my bad day and I didn't mean to make you part of it.

Wow. This went farther than I thought it would. Nice to see everything is resolved and all good now. But I still have my original question simply out of curieousity; did he save it or not? Regardless, it's an awesome picture!

Before Dave removed it, there was a photo of him going down in a Big way! Straight across the track!

I think that photo is on the verg........ of him pulling out or loosing it.. I used to do shit like that on my old street bike. when I lived out in the country... I never had id leaned over like that!!!!!! but I would kick the ass end out all of the time... always to the left like that photo.. never could get my balance doing it to the right? it actually scared me going to the right and trying to slide the tire out? never understood why though???

I dont think he wrecked though because as Dave says in his post above the picture I previously "posted was not part of that sequence. Same guy, same bike, but later that same day." Meaning the bike survived the first picture.
