OT: Rolexes for $15!!!!
Damn! There must be hellacious import taxes on Rolexes in the US. I got one today in Bangkok for $15 (500 Bhat)

hehe...they sell for 20 bucks on the street in NYC too...and you save the cost of an overseas plane ticket!

$20 is too much. Actually its closer to $25..lol Seen some as high as $50-80 in a boutique store

NOt sure if this is still true or not, but on "fake" rolex watches you will notice that the second hand "ticks". On a real Rolex, the second hand NEVER ticks - it has a smooth motion. That was one way you could quickly spot a faker here in NYC.... of course, that was eons ago and the fakers probably fixed that...

yup they have, but I don't have any of the "good" fakes, LOL.

Yep, they did. 2 of the 3 Roluxes I bought are self wind, not battery/quartz. The second hand sweeps like the real ones.

Was a company on the internet that made some amazing looking fakes for about 200 bucks.

I bought one of the self winding fake ones in Mexico a few years ago. It lasted 2 weeks before it broke. Still looks good sitting in my watch case though. lol
