TNCHIP: For the first year ZX12R, (model year 2000), Kawasaki sent a book to each new buyer. The book is titled "The Story of the Ninja ZX12R". I've got the bike and the book. What was in your collector brochure?

Still on the fence about purchasing the H2. I've owned every big-bore Kawasaki since the 93 ZX11. Sat on them, test rode them at demo events, and read all about them before purchasing. Different story with the H2: No demo rides, no press evaluations, can't even sit on the bike (it's forbidden at bike shows). Kawasaki is asking it's loyal fans to take a huge leap of faith by laying down $25K for a bike that, beyond 23 videos, there is little information available. I called Kawasaki Irvine USA HQ last week and expressed my concerns. Doesn't sound like any additional information will be available by the order deadline of 12/19. Local dealer says deliveries will be in January. What delivery date did you get TNCHIP?

They haven't given anyone a specific delivery date, gremlin. Right now it's 'after Jan 2015'. That being said, there are pics of H2s being crated for delivery out on the web.

Swift: There are pictures of three H2/H2Rs in green steel-framed crates and being delivered to a bike show in England. Are you referring to this picture, or something else?

Kawasaki is offering $500.00 in "Kawasaki Kash" towards any new 2015 model. You must stop by the Kawasaki booth at the International Motorcycle show touring the country to sign up!
For anyone who already ordered, did you use this perk?

Kawasaki sparing no expense: In today's Wall Street Journal, there is an article on "Spaceport America" located in New Mexico. This is the home base of the Virgin Galactic rocket powered aircraft that crashed recently. There is concern that the 18,000 acre site, partly paid for by millions in tax breaks, might be mothballed due to the crash. Article mentions three companies that paid to film there: Nike, Aston Martin, and Kawasaki!

So...it was more expensive to film here than anywhere else? Is that what you are saying?

Just an FYI more than anything else. One of Kawasaki's H2 videos shows this building. This article is confirmation that Kawasaki did indeed use the Spaceport. Nice connection between the space-age styling and cutting-edge technology in the H12 and the Spaceport. .
