2007 ZX-6R Kit ecu
Anyone installed the Kawasaki KIT ECU yet on an o7 ZX-6r? I jsut got mine this week with the programming wire and the harness. But there is not anything to tell me how to wire it. Where the factory plugs are etc.
I have the CD for the software but did not see info there either. Am I just missing it?

Nevermind. There are TWO manuals in pdf on the CD, one is for the racing engine build up and the other is the how to install. The connectors on the bike are kinda tricky though because they have covers on them and they will fool you if you dont look closely.

The Kit ECU is adjustable for fuel map, timing and other parameters. Available through Kawasaki Dealers or their website. You will need the interface harness plus an adapter harness to program it and that costs as much as the ECU. We have them on our racebikes and it does make more power. A 4% ignition advance make good power. 121 HP from our ZX6R with a Full Leo Vince & BMC filter.
