Luggage?
I know the 6 isn't what most people consider a Sport Touring bike....but I was wondering, has anyone tried to outfit the bike with bags?
Anything work REALLY well?

I saw this Marsee Bullet tank bag at a shop and thought it be really handy...

Perfect for short runs - take my cell phone and wallet with me on a ride, since it has a really hard time fitting under the ZX6R seat.

Whatever - if you need a big bike to tour (so you can pack all your shoes and daintys) then do what you need to do.
I like to go camping with my bike.
My SPORTBIKE.
Nothing like a twisty road and setting up camp by the side of the road.

I bought a full size Tundra the other day, hopefully it'll solve my bike tow issues, luggage problems, and will hold a few tents and sleeping bags.
I don't have a real pic, just this chitty phone cam pic

Princess, I do the same thing and I owned a 6R up until last year. I bought one of these for my bike and it comes with an attachment to put your tent in as well.

MakennaEllen - hmmm...good looking bag set up.
Do they ever creep forward on you - like a too friendly passenger?
Do you have to take it apart to get into the different bags compartments?
I am working out a set up for my bike now - leaving for Laguna in July.
I have been waiting on the Venture Shield guys to send me a sample to test out on my bike BEFORE I start testing bag set ups.

I had the wolfman bags last year on the 14.
Just to get an idea of the volume of stuff we take camping oh and someone has to be able to put the firewood on their bike!

Princess,
No worries with them creeping forward. There is a strap that goea around your tail and keeps them back.
They are all one piece, aside frome the tent attachment. It even had a little pocket in the front to keep your wallet or bike papers.
I like this bag very much.
