Boots...

Shopping for new boots - is there anything worth buying besides Sidi?
I like to have something I can use for track days.

What's wrong with SIDI?

I want Joe Rocket but they only make size 12's as biggest. I wear 13's.

I picked up a pair of Alpinestar SMX Plus boots recently, I tried on the Sidi Vertebrae's also. The Alpinestars fit better and were much more comfortable.

Nothing is wrong with sidi - I was just wondering if there was anything else.
I love sidi....but I was just thinking I might want to try a different brand...

I agree Sidi and several others make awesome boots. I just like the Alpinestars. I like Dainese leathers OK, but seeing what Alpinestars has been doing lately my next set of leathers will be theirs.

PK my Gaerne boots feel like house slippers. They fit and feel perfect. I can wear them all day long and they never hurt my feet. Here's an old picture with them on my trusty 12R. AND the BIG "G" Stands for GUNNER!!!!!!! The sad news is my razor sharp Attack rear sets on my 10R eat a damn hole right thru the bottoms!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! But without question I'll replace them with another set just like them I'm picky about my shoes too. Since I have very flat feet most shoes hurt my feet.

Thanks Steve... That was back when I could still ride the 12R fairly well... I can't ride the 12 for shit anymore... The 10R has completely spoiled me. Now days riding the 12R is like riding an 18 wheeler. It feels so damn big and heavy I feel certain that it won't turn even though I know it will..

Moral of that story is ------------------------> If you're in love with a FAT girl don't have sex with the prom queen

Hey NUMB NUTS ...... Take a look at that road surface under the tires in that picture.. Every piece of road calls for a different approach. For that particular surface that's getting it done. I didn't pick the photo spot or I would have picked a better surface for riders to show case their skills. In fact I wasn't even aware that pictures were being taken at that particular corner. I'm sure had I known I would hve probably fell down show boating on bad Surface..

By the way Scott it's really not the amount of angle that makes that a great picture........ For you it's my body position that you can learn from. PROPER WAY TO CORNER A BIG HEAVY BIKE!!!

For me it's the REFLECTION in my sun glasses that make that picture so special. DID you take a minute to notice that?
