Poll Question: Rear brake reservoir (POLL)
Is it Ugly?
How much does it bother you?
Would it have kept you from buying the bike if you had noticed it earlier?
Does it bug you enough you need to change it?
Have you told all your friends it's a great bike, but the Rear brake reservoir placement makes a good looking bike ugly?
Or can you just ignore it and go ride?
It doesn't bother you.
Poll Results:
5 votes (42%)
Ugly -- have to move it as soon as I can figure out how
2 votes (17%)
Med Ugly - will move it if it's easy to do
5 votes (42%)
Not Ugly - just going to keep it stock
0 votes (0%)
Ugly - see if they move it 08 and see if the 08 parts will fit on an 07

Not ugly.
I find it strange that someone would find the rear reservoir ugly but not the one on the front. Obviously a master cylinder with an integrated reservoir is much more attractive.
Oh wait....the front is just like the cool race bike tech.
Just remove the reservoir and put a cork in the feed tube. Thats all the fluid you'll need for one ride

I was going to say it didn't bother me.. then fish posted that :P just kidding.
I was riding to work this morning and was taking a peek at my shadow ... and u can see it poking out in the shadow and (Take into account I've taken my rear footpegs off) and it really wrecks the clean shape/silhouette of the bike.
it hasn't made me not like the bike or the design team for not putting more effort into it. Just something I'll change. wheres the res on an 06 636?

Well...that is why I started this Poll.
To see what Owners really think.
It's like the ZX14...
Some people hated all the lights.
Some people hated the (George Formin) Grills.
Some people hated the tail section.
At least the 6 doesn't have as many design issues as the 14 first did when it came out.

Yeah, design issues like the engine seizing when they run out of oil?

What I dislike about my ZX14? The back seat. I guy in Zx14 forum even brought up the fact I could fit "twins" on the back when he saw the below pic.
banana seat!?
have to take 4 screws out to put someone on it
its a mile and a half long
my OLD 2003 600RR seat is better design
***and you people talk about the back brake stuff showing - WTF?

I saw a friends '07 ZX6R parked by another friends '07 Honda 600RR.
One thing I noticed other than the rear brake crap shows on each bike is Honda has a little polished metal bracket around the rez. Both owners seemed not to care enough about it to even comment when I mentioned the rez showing on the bikes

Okay last night I moved my resovoir.
Lemme say it is so incredibly simple! No cutting no nothing. Use existing bracket and everything. Some may say that its too close to the pipe now but trust me it aint any closer than it was.
So far there is no performance difference at all. I'll post up better pictures once I get my bike back from its 1000km service later today.
The position of the res never bothered me before but now that its gone the bike looks incredible!!!! Oh and I'll post pics of my new stickers too... they look soooo sweet!

I wanted a clean look so I moved it. However, I took my time and put it in a place where is nice and level and fully functional.
