How was the bike on the track?

Do you still have the stock tires on it?

er, question...

Does anyone have a problem with these stock tires? I'm finding them pretty sweet so far. Although I'll probably switch to some pirelli's when these are done.

Could that be because you ride a "Mechanical Bull"?
What tires do you run on your 6R Sheppy??

Sorry Princess... you asked me a question. I got side tracked and busy and stuff...

The bike was amazing at the track and "will be" a blast I'm sure next time out. It was a really windy day and my first time back on the track after crashing the ZX10 there at Willow Springs Interational Raceway in February. Lots of things added up to a less than stellar day but I came home VERY happy with the new 6R. I got to spend some quality time getting to know her and start to adjust my head and habits back to a 600.
I had gone from a ZX636 to the ZX10 a few years ago and was lucky enough to hold on (lol). In the begining I was peeling the rubber of the tires of the 10 because I didn't know how not too! Now I have to re-learn to twist it up again and trust it. Not something I ever "really" felt comfortable with on the 10. (duh) I was a bit of a pansey I'm afraid...
One of the things that made a big difference was having the suspension set up for me at the track by Randy (?) from Kyle Racing. He did a great job. Well worth the $30. This bike is a perfect fit for me and I actually feel weightless when I'm riding... My arms, legs, butt, nothing gets tired because its all so well balanced. My knees don't even hurt! At my age
that's a big deal!
As far as tires go... I borrowed some cool sticky Pirrelli's for the track, I'll tell you what they are when I go look..

I don't think it'll take too long to get setteled in ...! Every time I ride now I have a huge smile from ear to ear! I've really missed that!

BTW Miss Lo, your Pirelli's are Corsa III's. Don't bother gettin' your lazy ass out to the garage to look. You're welcome.

I am going to hopefully get some Pirelli Stradas for the ride down to Laguna...
Those are nice sport/touring tires - they last forever, in tire years.
