Yeah the Scud is an eyesore. When looking at perspective Motorcycles to buy I try to objective about cosmetics. Mufflers don't affect my judgment as I change them out for lighter, higher flowing aftermarket units. The original Bandit 1200S had some horrific looking Mirrors, and a huge Muffler. Both were easily swapped out. Keep in mind the OEM's are are hog tied by the EPA when releasing a model. Me? I like the 4 into 1 (sans the scud), but then again I am a firm believer in function before form

the busa and zx14 crew down here looks at it and says look at the f$%^& pipe...they cruise at 120 with there chin on the tank and i come up behind them with the windshield barely raised sitting straight up with my stock pipe and they think i am a cop...the looks on the face ...hahahahaha

Nope - see it with the stainless Areap single exhaust...much better looking and way more power with that setup! Comes close to the superbike power ranges now with something like close to 160 RWHP on the Dyno...(exhaust and tune).
