I think it is the best overall bike too, not the fastest in the world, but how fast do you need to go?? Flies out mod makes the grin bigger! It does handle well, I always get the feeling it is glued to the road, and maybe the weight helps in that area.
I got 1/4" chicken strips on the back tire, the extra 1/4" is for emergencies, a safety margin if you will, just in case. I does a lot well, that's for sure, and is comfy to boot, my only gripe now is the heat...

Have you checked your foam heat sheilds inside the lowers? Some bikes were shipped with these incorrectly installed and they blasted your legs with engine heat. Just took a ride in 108 degree temps and my legs were fine....... my balls melted off but my legs were fine

I did look at all of that when I had it apart, did not see anything out of place...
If I so much as wear anything like sweat pants or jeans it is not an issue.

Well, I checked the foams when I first got it and they look fine. I think the bike just generates a lot of heat.. PERIOD.
Either case, time for new tires. Over 8K on the Original tire and same on this one. Picked up a nail a week back and took the tire to Cycle gear and they prorateed me a new tire 40% off a new tire. Now I just have to get the fronts tomorrow.
