Stock tires
I just rolled 6000 miles and the stock tires are done. I had read reviews on the c-14 and heard that the low speed handling was poor. Thing like that are relative and subjective and I didn't think anything about it. I just put a pair of Mich pilot road 2ct's on this week. Wow I didn't realize how poorly it had handled before. Had someone told me I wouldn't have believed them. I have about 250 miles on them and they seem to be very consistent in the corners and wear well. These new roads seem to hook better than the old Roads. Does anyone have any simular experiences????

I haven't replaced the stockers yet, but I'm sure I'll get the Pilot Road 2s also. People on here rave about them.
One thing I did do that made a huge increase in low speed handling is cranking in some more front rebound damping. The agility was comparable to first riding in sand then on clean hot pavement!

Another alternative would be the Dunlop Roadsmart, I've been impressed with them on my ZRX... dual compound with great wear as well as grip.

What about rain handling? I had the Pirelli Diablo Strada's on my ZX-14 and I thought the rain handling was great. The stock tires on the C14 have scared the shit out of me a couple times. Even dry the back tire seems to lock easily on hard braking. I understand the physics behind this, it gets light, and it's not a ZX-14 but I expected braking to be nearly as good.
