My trip to the Dragon!
So, here I am in HOT Nashville, a day after my ride through the Tail of the Dragon....thought I'd post s few pics while I'm on the road, will post more on the trip when I get back home next week...the C14 was the perfect choice for this trip...she handles like a sportbike, brakes like one and rides and has the comfort of world class sport touring bike.
These are a few pics from the Dragon...which we did a few times in 90 degree temps...they're low res, but I'll get the high res pics when I get back.
You can see this bike has no issue kissing the ground...and is a pleasure to put down in corners, with no effort at all...

If problems here at home had not "popped" up I would have been on the Dragon at the same time as you. Now we will be leaving next week for a 10,000 mile trip on the C14, a big USA, CA tour.

Wormgear -- you're right! This puppy corners like my ZX10R did! It's not near as flickable, but certainly has the power and grace to make the corners easy!

FBA next time your in Nashville try hwy 141 east out of Lebanon. Then hwy 96 west from Center Hill damn. These are awesome roads. I live in Mt. Juliet just east of Nashville. Me and some buddies ride these roads alot...

LOL I just got back from a ride to Eastern Ky. Some killer roads up there. Yeah wish i had known ahead of time you were headed this way..

Great pictures, and I couldn't agree with you more. I just took a ride to Laguna Seca and the bike was just a pure pleasure. And the thing just tore up highway 4 over Ebott's pass. What a great bike.

Ted, I had an 05 10R...and while it was a perfect handler, I never felt as comfortable pushing her into the turns as my big pig Connie...LOL
Even my ZX doesn't inspire me in turns as does my big pig....

It is almost weird how good this thing handles. But my 10 with it's front wheel dancing around and lifting off the ground gives me a certain feeling of control.

Great pics steve! Beautiful country up there. I went two years ago on my VTX. That's what inspired me to get a sport touring bike!
So in a lean like that, can I assume you have no "chicken strips" left on the rear tire?

LOL -- none -- on either one...or either side...that was only 1 of 318 turns on the Dragon...each one like the previous one. You just get into the rhythm after a few minutes.

Yep............we have some killer roads up here............ Tennesse has some killer roads too................  We have about 1% of the law enforcement you guys have though.................
