Outstanding 80 mile ride
Myself and a couple of friends took a ride up to Mt. Hamilton (out of San Jose California, approx 50 miles north of Laguna Seca) where the Lick Observatory is located. It was 40 paved uphill miles of the most steep kiss your hind end turns I've ever been on. It was great. Once we left the observatory we continued on and down the other side (another 40 miles) through some of the most beautifull country you'll ever see. The road was wider and the turns were faster, not as sharp. the road comes out in Livermore. Best ride I've ever been on. You guys who are riding down to Laguna, try to add an extra day. You won't regrete it

That sounds like fun. I just got a Zumo, maybe I can start to set up routes for rides when I get there. That one should be fun.

Usually during that weekend if I take my bike I ride up north where there is less traffic. Around Stinson beach, Muir woods, Mill Valley. Usually I am on a sport bike but this year is C14 time. Should be fun.
