Batteries and the fob

Hi again!

Another question. Does anyone know, if I take the batteries out of the spare fob for a while, will it lose it's memory? It would be nice to take the batts out while traveling to disable it so it can be kept with the bags on the bike.

Thanks!

Leif

no, it is just that the battery won't go dead doing nothing. The fob is a radio transmitter with a unique id, the bike gets programmed to the fob, not the fob to the bike.
