Kawasaki logo

I just remembered this, when comparing Jailcop's bike to mine, his abs model has the kawasaki logo on the bottom of the windshield, my non abs model does not... Weird.

Does anyone have a non abs model with the kawasaki logo sticker on the bottom of the windshield?

Rob

Does anyone with a non abs model have the logo on the windshield? Maybe the extra 900 bucks for the abs, 1/2 of that might be for the sticker?? LoL

I bought one and I think it is about $2.50. The Accessory shield has a really nice die cut one. The stocker is just a sticker.

Ok, either someone stole my sicker, or my bike is a one of a kind special, R&D bike if you will. I am almost convinced of the latter, it just runs real strong and I do not even push it due to break in.

In the past I have bought bikes, that were not really up to snuff. The 2001 zrx1200r and this one were real godsends. Both deliver more than expected given the low amount of real stress I put on both during break in, but the c-14 makes the zrx seem like a gs1100e from the early 80's i comparison.

The c-14 rocks big time, handles better than my zx-11 or 2000 'busa could, I can only imagine what full throttle could do, given the flies out 2 bro's and pc3. Probably would piss myself, or smoke another c-14, or even give a run on a stock zx-14. The low end gain vs. stock is leaps and bounds over stock, and where are contest usually won or lost? The line, the starting line. The bonus is, it ihas way better power delivery in ANY gear, those who want to cruise in OD, it is a huge difference down low.

I really feel that at this point ,I do not need more than 4k light throttle to almost eliminate most anyone in the rear view mirror, easily. Then again I never went up against a zx-14 or busa or 1000, but would like to try at some point.

Looking at the power graph for my perticuar setup, big power starts around 3-4k, what happens beyond that, wide open, is beyond my comprehension at this stage, but it must be wicked.

Can't wait untill break in is over, sorta

Rob

Going through south central WI backroads yesterday, 4K didn't seem like all that much. Just starting to breathe at that rpm. Barely enough to you going out of the corners

I think it's all relative, when I took the bike out of storage, 4K seemed like a lot, but now after 4K+ miles, must rev it up higher to feel like it's moving.

I guess I am in for a treat as I get the miles racked up, but really, 4k gets me to 60 in 5 sec. or less not even twising on the throttle...
