2500 mile trip and this thing is awesome

Just spent the last week riding from DFW to Minneapolis to see my wife who is working up there temporarily. Rode through OK, AR, MO, IA AND MN to get there and when I was there I also hit up WI. The bike ran flawless and even on the way home I was able to maintian 85-90 most of the way with a nice 40 mph sidewind. This bike stays planted on the highway even in those conditions. The seat actually got better with time. Just wish I had more time on the way back. I was able to go 900+ miles in 14 hours. Now I am thinking SS1000 From DFW to Phoenix to see my boys

900 miles in 14 hrs?!@# Doing what, 100 most of the way? What about breaks, for you, not the bike...?

Glad you had a good time out here... Weather's been a tad chilly for this time of year, but I think june will get pretty hot fast.

Averaging 65ish isn't so bad.
Weather here turned from winter to summer. It was 95 Saturday and Sunday.
