Well surprisingly, I like this better than the 14. It just feels right, handles right, looks right. Love the adjustable windshield feature and of course the shaft drive. I just keep in perspective what this bike is all about. It ain't a ZX10, but it can be husseled around pretty good. Buy one.

I did just that. You said exactly what I said , It ain't a zx10. But I had the exact same thought you did. It just feels right and you can basically tear up a road on this thing and do it in extreme comfort.

aint buying one until I can get an AP exhaust for it, so you better hurry up and get the pics up and some stats Kerry....

always on alert....just like riding in El Paso....prolly safer here though....lol
Didint you know that is my deciding factor on buying a new bike, its whether or not you all are making an exhaust for it or not......
I can see a nice dual muffler CF exhaust for my new Concours when I get home.....I cant wait......

Pix taken during prototyping. Our website will have more info shortly. Very simple installation. Plus 5.6 hp, 4.7 tq.
Weight savings 14 lbs.
Sound levels -
Stock - Idle 77 - 78 dbA - Area P - 83 - 84 dbA
Stock - 5000 rpm - 92 - 93 dbA - Area P - 92 - 93 dbA
Essentially a very quiet exhaust, that has a differnt "tone" from stock. Good power increase, saved lots of weight. Our bike's fuel curve was a little lean up to 8000 rpm, so further improvments can be obtained with a PC3 (not available as of yet from DJ).
We should have these ready early September. $395.00 stainless steel. $450.00 carbon fiber.

Stupid question: is the catalytic converter on the C14 located in the muffler? If so, is the exhaust pipe double-wall to keep heat for catalysis?

Yes, located in the oem muffler. Double wall tubing is not necessarily for retaining heat for the cat. Most reasoning is for strength, ease of fabrication, discoloration, vibration and sometimes even sound. Cat location varies from model to model based on it's emissions reaction and heat required to be affective (among other reasons).

This pipe looks good but how does the bike look from behind and with the bags off, is the pipe oval or round and do you export to Australia?

Looks good but I would rather have a carbon can without someone's logo. And it needs a carbon end cap.

Area P cans come without the logo. you stick it on yourself if you want (i hope that's still accurate, i know it used to be). and there is a pic of a carbon can above. as to a carbon end cap... does that exist? i've never seen it.

Biggy - E-mail us directly and we can send you more photos taken from the rear. Did not take any with the bags off. Quite honestly, never really thought about that.... Our mufflers are elliptical shape (oval mufflers have flat sides, elliptical is a constant radius). We ship/sell worldwide and would love to ship one to you in Australia.
Wii - As Freek indicated, we ship without the logo installed. They come in the hardware kit. It is on in the picture simply for detail. No carbon end caps yet. (though we are testing some now). We will only debut them when I am convinced that we can make them last as long as all other components from repeated heat cycling and element exposure.

Hmm, I thought one cat. was in the collector, and one was in the bazooka muffler?
Also, I REALLY like the Carbon can as it is shown in the picture. Hell, I even like the graphic, it reduces the visual mass of the can
