That's Daddy'd bike!
gathering more money for the 2008 launch
If it's as difficult to test drive as the ZX-14 was, I'll get it in the late summer 2008
If it's much more expensive I'll wait a year more
If it's not good eg. turbulence problems or seat not copmfortable
then the Bandit is a keeper
Note that the new Hayabusa will be also released 2008 (more info 1 year from now)
Look closely, behind the seat there is a horizontal Foreman Grill so you don't have to lay the bike on its side to cook, like on the 14! NICE FEATURE, cook and ride!!!!!!!!!

At the risk of sounding like a smart ass, are they changing
the name from Concours to Concourse? Seems almost everywhere
it is being spelled like this now. Typo or what?

Who knows, that bike belongs in a ZX thread about like the Goldwing and Beamer...nothing against those bikes but uhmm.... seems news about a ZX10 is more appropriate in these threads than the "cruise around comfortably" bikes

Nope - Concours 14.
That pesky 'e' has been around for 20 years. People need to learn to spell.

It's built off of the zx 14 platform so why not disscuss it here? And I'm sure there are a few few people who have the 14 that will trade there 14 or buy one as well as keeping there 14, so discuss away .Stevewfl just hope the guy that puts a trailer hitch on don't pass you in the curves on that bike. I will say that my Fjr with pilot powers out handled my Busa and Zx14 hands down. if kawasaki did there homework this bike will rock. I even ran 10.87 in the 1/4 on my Fjr with the bags on. so the Concours should run 10.50's easy.

I had read somewhere a long time ago that the FJ would do 10.16 in the 1/4...they had tested it and that was an 04 (bagless) with a light rider. Not too shaby for a sport touring package...I bet the 14 does it in under 10.50. I too had an FJR...04, was a great bike and did handle insanely well! Just didn't like the vibration issue at 4200...but that was trivial. Was a wheelie monster too...used to lift hard at 2K...sick!
