yes... but they're trapped in the computer and I'm getting on a plane... will have some vids etc up in a day or two after I finish travelling back!

would you say this CBR is similar to the new GSXR1000 or ZX10R in that it is short guy only ??As in is it gorrila friendly ??

I actually like the front of the Honda. Don't like the 10R's front end, but I love the bike. R1 is nice. GSX-R = same shit...blah.

I'm 6'3 had no probs.... 6'5" rider at the intro had no complaints either, but best to sit on it in person to see if it fits you.

for the straight line crowd the bike is fast but will require thought to make the engine larger as cylinder head was made even smaller by removing sleeves and instead coating head... to overbore would require sleeves or head swap...
Just curious....as like the Busa motor, why not just bore and replate the cylinders? No sleeve needed for those.

I suppose you could replate the cylinders... either way I'll post the specs...
easier would be to buy Honda's "power up" kit  (yes.. they sell it!)

steve, I dont think you get it... they offer kits to build your own HRC superbike... the bikes we tested were stockers.

Yes GUNNER, out of the box for out of the box is the comparison. And even if the ZX10 has a few more ponies, that won't help it on cornerspeed, shorter stop distances, etc that makes a superbike.
Did you see the weight of the Honda full of gas and oil? Between that and a far superior suspension I still suspect its the blade for everything except a "quarter mile" or red light to red light or a "strong dyno curve" LOL.

Fish I don't need to ride a damn Honda to know where it will place.. Always and I mean always have been last on the street and will again this year..
Race bikes or race car motors are a completely different story and I won't argue with that. They have deep pockets and aren't afraid to spend cash. BUT, what they do lack is BIG BALLS when it comes to giving Joe consumer a fast as hell product. Perhaps law suits frighten them. who knows.. Also don't confuse those pre-production models with what Joe consumer will get either....
Again in my nearly 30 years of motorcycles HONDA has always been the one company that seems to have the hardest time turning out bikes that all run the same. One will haul balls and 10 that are exactly the same are complete SNAILS... Go figure.....Time will tell

Honda 600RR slaughtered its class in 07, that design aggressiveness I suspect Honda carried over to the litre class in 08.
The days of them having the heaviest but most reliable bikes are over.

I say we stay on topic and read more about the new blade instead of bickering about who is better. Maybe you shouldn't mirror this in the Smackhouse because it will get some smackhouse replies fish. I want to read and see(video) of info you got.
