So - the flag is 2x3.
I wanted it small enough that if you didn't have room under your seat - you could slip it into your jacket.
(As this event gets bigger - we will get a bigger flag)
I would really like everyone to sign it - so write big enough that we can read who you are - but leave room for the next guy.
Take lots of pictures, can't wait to see them!!!

was qsl today...hiccuppp... the owner bill is there in the mornings....got the bartender's(Rayna) number....she says he is the one to talk to for special arrangements... if igure a special parking area for bikeland members, special mention from radical randy and the band...maybe some drink specials....lots of pictures...someone bring a sharpie...any other ideas? also how many of you turkeys are showing up to sign the flag at quaker steak on september 19th... i need to know how much room we need for bikes,signing, ....pictures. also the timing for signing say 7 to 9? just a few details.

I don;t know the amount of riders showing up at QSL, the point of the relay is to pass the flag aroune differents cities. But with the flag going all over the US/Canada then over to Iraq, QSL should appreciate the fact we want to launch from their business so yes a special mention and lots of pics are what we need brutha make it happen :P

huh? PK I'm confused- the same flag won't be making the trip with all the original signatures on one flag? Or have you been listening to Fish's and freeks ideas again hehehehe

I hope it gets here tomorrow, It'll take a little side trip to the NC blueridge before the Official Kickoff at Quaker Steak
and Lube Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL Wednesday Sept 19th!

Yes there are enough people in this thread to get the flag to Maryland so far. Now as for the route through GA, I'm sure that others can and will join (the more the merrier).
I think that the best thing to do is for the GA riders (and riders in other states) to start sending pm's and phone numbers, to each other about possible routes and meeting places, days of the week etc to establish "point to point" connections.
Now if one person from each State wants to step forward and coordinate that State, that would be Ideal. Then they would be the "Point person" as far as communications for that state go.
I will be sending out some PM's today to the Florida riders who responded to get the route going following the kickoff Wednesday Sept. 19th. Steve and I will be looking for a rider in Sarasota to meet up with us at
Roaring Toyz.

So about how long should the flag stay in each state? Cause moving at this pace, it will never get through the northern places. They will have snow on the ground. Let's try and keep this in mind so everybody would be able to participate in this event.

Cause moving at this pace, <---FEDEX is moving the flag to H2 right now so it should be moving fast
We'll kick this thing off the 19th and hopefully get the fag out of FL fast

Hey Steve don't call it a "fag"! It deserves more respect than that! 
When it comes to north FL is it coming straight up to Jax then north to Ga?
Or up to Lake City 1st and East over to Jax then north? If so I could meet up with who brings it to Gainesville, I know of some good back roads from Gainesville to Lake City.
