Just saw the 1098 in person
Well I went to the bike show yesterday and saw and sat on the 1098 and my wife gave me permission to call around and see if there is any in my area that are not spoken for if I want one. Just trying to decide what I want to do. Sell my ZO6 vette and keep the zx14 and buy the Ducati. or keep the Z06 and sell the 14 and buy the ducati and a vstrom 650 for everyday riding and trips. man I'm getting a headache

I think you should kept the Z06, kept the 14 get rid of your wife and buy the 1098 and don't ever buy a vstom. That way you don't have to ask for permission... you're making us(men) look bad!

I had a vstrom before and that bike might just surprise you on everything it does very well. I don't think I will get rid of a wife who before the show had no idea I even thought about getting the 1098 and at the show I'm standing there looking at it and she says do you like it, I said yup, she said will buy one then. I just don't drive the ZO6 much guess I'm more of a bike person. only drove it 1800 miles in the last 2 yrs.
