FS '08 GSXR 1000 or '06-'08 ZX14 exhaust I picked up a GSXR 1000 exhaust (mid-pipes back) and fabricated some extensions to fit my ZX14. I have since ordered a full Muzzy carbon fiber exhaust and need to get rid of these. I am open to offers. The canisters have been partially de-muffled. Here is a clip of the pipes on my bike. They can still be directly bolted onto the stock 08 GSXR catalytic converter or directly onto the stock ZX14 headers. I am only selling the GSXR canisters, GSXR midpipes, and the pipes I fabricated.

Just FYI..... I had the bike dynoed today with these pipes. The remainder of the bike (drivetrain-wise) is bone stock. The dyno run was 164 rear wheel hp, and 100 rear wheel ft/lbs. I don't know what my bike was stock off the showroom floor, so I don't know if this was an improvement or not. The tech running the dyno did say the bike was a hair lean down low, dead on in the midrange, and a little rich up top.

I didn't like the shiney Howitzers hanging off the rear of the bike. Anything that I did, I wanted to be able to reverse, so that left modifying the stock canisters out. I got the GSXR exhaust for nothing, and it was literally brand new. The GSXR pipes also had rivets, which I could drill and re-rivet. Not to mention the exhaust matches the bike better than the stock exhaust.
This originally came about because I couldn't justify to my wife why a new bike needed the exhaust replaced. She views a bike exhaust on the same level as a car exhaust: you don't replace it until it is worn out.......
But alas, the government came through and gave me some of my tax money back...go the check and got to spend it on stuff I wanted.....
