ZX-12R Transmission
I am selling my 2000 zx12 transmission that I had pulled from my bike while I sent out another one to get done at R&D this spring. As some may know I had intermittent issues with it popping out of the middle 2 gears, never under WOT in 1st, 2nd, or 6th. And even at 90-95% effort they were fine, only under 100% WOT would the gears occaisionally pop out towards the fall of 2006. In any case, I removed mine and what you see is the entire transmission:
C-clips
Forks
Input Shaft
Output Shaft
Shift Drum
The transmission, like the rest of my motor had 9700-9800 miles on it before the build.
This would be a great transmission for a drag racer, land speed racer, roadracer or even a street rider who would like to send their transmission out for work (undercutting, etc) without having to source an entire motor or be bikeless for 2-3 months!
I paid an honest $400 for the used one I picked up so I would like to get that amount back. First $400 gets it with free shipping but I am open to reasonable offers as well.
If I don't get any takers in the next couple days I'll put it up on ebay but I'd rather sell it to someone on the board and not deal with the BS that can go on with ebay.
