There's been talk of an all new Busa since 2000.
BNG's and not even an updated model since it's introduction.

Suzuki's sales have not dropped on the busa, it doesn't make a lot of sense to spend millions re-tooling the plant to rebuild something that is still making them money. The now know with the release or the new model zx14 they will have to step it up. Here are a couple of cgi's of the new busa, don't know which one yet.

as of july of 2007 the new busa will be on hte showrooms floor as suzuki canada stated at the edmonton biek show...

suzuki built busa in 1999 to last for a decade...new busa will be out at 2009...2008 will just be limited edition colours ... waiting to see 2008 zzr1400...

I love all bikes and I used to have a 2003 busa. I admit I like my 14 better, but that big hump you are talking about does serve a great function. When I knew I was gana haul ass, I would just side my but up against it and let that help keep the "I am gana slide off in mid throttle" Feeling away. On the 14 you have to hang on for dear life. Your hands are all the keep you on. On the busa I felt I had better controle in racing cause I did not have white knuckels from holding all the force in my hands. I could focus more on the shifting and so on.
