zx14 turbo
I'm planning on building my 2006 Zx 14 to make over 300 hp. I have a nx wet nos kit as well as aem water meth injector with monitor.I have been looking at Chris Jones street kits and atp as well as Mr. Turbo. I want to make over 300 hp but still have room to upgrade internals n crank up boost. Which kit do you men n women recommend as well as any other upgrades you think I should go with as well. I do have a pcv with autotune n LCD. I have been contemplating Muzzy extended swingarm 64-68 since it has a 2.5 lb bracket for my nx bottle as well as a 16 tooth. I do rice at night some times so the atp kit not having lighting is kind of a turn off but I do like that they don't have stages n you can crank boost up to it's max if you want. Assuming your engine can handle it I am leaning forwards Chris Jones but I don't know much info on it.

You put up two threads on basically the same topic. No Replies. I would suggest searching this forum. Turbos have been discussed here in rich detail before, which is probably why you're not getting a response.
I do know that the Chris Jones kits come highly recommended. It really depends on your budget. Big pockets? Then the turbo world is your Oyster!

I understand the reading bit. Which is what I have been doing.
I recently acquired a GT3582R turbo only just the unit. I know this particular turbo is good up to around 600bhp. would this unit fit another kit or would it need any mods done? I don't visit my tuner until the 15th. N I emailed Chris Jones in regards to purchasing a a kit minus the turbo.

I used to have a GT35R on my Mitsubishi. It's a fairly large turbo. Again anything can be done if you want to spend the money. Is .82 the A/R of the hot side? Might be a bit laggy for 1.4l if so. A .63 might be more fun on the street I would think.

Not not too big. 1.xx would be to big for me. I'm just trying to see if anyone would know if besides fabricating my own what other header I can use

You can get a different exhaust housing for the turbo to fit the header you get.
The atp kit uses a gt30 turbo with a .63 ar hot side. On my bike it would start
spooling up around 5500 rpm. With a gt35 I don't understand why you think you
need to add nitrous on top of it.

I think he is thinking of nitrous to help spool the turbo. Not sure with motorcycles, but in the car world guys would spray to get the turbo spooled then have it shut off once target boost is achieved.

I had the wet nos kid prior to getting the turbo. N yes it would be to spool up the big turbo. No use using nos on top of the gt35., my thing was I don't want to buy a kit with the snail since I already have one. Just asking what headers would work

What's your take on the koso instrument panel? I'm thinking of swapping panels n adding a plx multiguage. I think the koso is like r1n or something like that.
