Was wondering if anyone has plasti dipped anything on their bikes, or if any of your friends have. Thinking about doing the whole bike in it then clear coating it. Was wondering everyones opinion on it

I have Plasti dipped my Civic and it has been holding up extremely well after 2 years of sun, snow and sand. they only areas of concern are the rocker panel where I drag my feet a little to get out. I thought about doing my 14 but I was afraid of what would happen on the tank area where it would be rubbed a lot.

Plastidip works great but does NOT work well anywhere that gets frequent rubbing. For example, it works good on the headlight fairing and fairings in places that your leathers will not rub against.

Would clear coat help it from peeling off so easy?

no, clear coat will make it SUPER hard to take off if you ever wanted to later.
there is plastidip clearcoar btw.

waxing it really really realllyyyyyy helps it stay on for a long time, especially in high traffic area, like gas tanks etc. but cleaning the area before dipping is super important and makes difference if you'd dip will flake off or not
