New Busa

Finally! At least this one isn't as ugly. And kwak riders be warned, this time it is unquestionably faster.

I wonder if Suzuki is going to pursue some sort of Japanese copyright infringement case against their use of the Hayabusa name. Suzuki needs such a thing to stay afloat it looks like.

Suzuki would have no claim really. The Hayabusa 1 had been in planing since 1995 and was first launched in 2003. Also being named after a bird they would have a hard time fighting anything else named that unless it was a competing motorcycle of course. There was a character named Hayabusa in the Japanese version of The Street Fighter arcade game dating back to 1994 as well.

Having no sensible claim hasn't stopped many big corps from trying to claim anyway.
