Ive hit redline in 6th on my 06 and 09 zx14 with speedlimiter bypassed many times.
Almost every ride. But the roads are flat and straight for miles in the prairies of Alberta.
Many of them empty for miles as well if you pick them right.
We have same speed laws as Ontario.
Im a calculated, risk analyzing, mostly fearless, oportunist though.

Redline isn't the same as the rev limiter though so it wasn't "topped out" per se.

it was wfo many many times
I did notice the soft limiter doesnt do much with a 50 shot. I tried that a few times.
I would suggest you remove the soft limiter entirely if you plan to run in to it on NOS or otherwise force inducted into the limiter
Apparently it will eat pistons if done repeatedly through the soft limiter wheras the hard limiter it will survive.

Cliff don't get it all twisted and think we can get by with WFO down here without huge problems with the cops.. With that said I recently spent 2 weeks in Alberta at the wife's family farm right around the Cold Lake area and NEVER seen the first cop for the whole two weeks!! Unreal lack of Police up there and roads that go for miles and miles straight as a pin! In fact about all the roads up there are fit for is top end fun since there's about 1 curve per 250 miles in any direction.. You live in the wrong spot in Canada and yes it's a great place to raise a family and anyone that bashes their healthcare system is a misinformed fool! They have a system that's about 10,000 times better than anything we have here. Sad that American's have been lied to for so long about how our system is the best in the world for nothing more than to justify the ass raping they hand out to us all every month justified by the illusion of our's is the best.. LAUGHABLE!!! once you see for yourself as I have. My wife says at least once a week that she misses her Alberta healthcare and anytime she sees anyone up there complaining on her facebook she quickly tells them they need to come on down here and get some of this system designed to empty every last cent from your pockets ..
